Sang Froid

The band SANG FROID was born in Nantes (France) in the winter of 2019. It is composed of two current members of REGARDE LES HOMMES TOMBER and one member of THE VEIL. Passionate about New Wave, Cold Wave, and Goth Rock music, the three artists wanted to create a band as a tribute to this scene. The result is a first self-produced 3-track EP released on January 8, 2021, which was very favorably received by the specialized press.
Since then, the group has been able to perform numerous times, notably alongside groups such as Perturbator, Front 242, Covenant and Frustration.
In early 2023, the band decided to enter the studio to record their first album with Benoit Roux (producer of Alcest's albums). Sang Froid then produced 8 tracks with a strong Goth Rock feel.
Walking alone at night, with a heavy heart, in a city that's too big, with cold architecture, is the feeling you get when listening to the songs of SANG FROID. Highly inspired by bands such as Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Sister Of Mercy or Depeche Mode, the band's music navigates a cold, gray universe that is sometimes pierced by the brilliance of feelings and the rage to live.
