Like an open book, The Ascending, a new band from Nantes, France, offers us an authentic and limitless universe. A true call to unity, placing humanity at the heart of the project, their music is driven by lyrics that are both committed and poetic, socially anchored in their time. The Ascending is 6 musicians all from the Nantes rock scene: Jessica Delot, Clair (Stinky), Alex (Les hommes crabes, No jogging for today), Thomas (Tsar), Maxime (Stinky, 20 Seconds Falling Man) and Eddy (Eddy Kaiser, Moor), who came together to compose sounds that reflect them, inspired by folk, punk, grunge, industrial and post-rock. The Ascending are currently working on their second album, and will release two new tracks in early 2025.
